Chex Is My Daddy holds the PHBA 2007 World Champion titles in Junior Reining, Amateur Reining, and Amateur Working Cow Horse. He also became the 2007 PHBA Reserve World Champion in Junior Working Cow Horse. Chex Is My Daddy is a 4-time AQHA World Show Qualifier, and has earned his AQHA Superior award. Additionally, he is an NRHA Money Earner and has won several Morrison Bronze and Lawson Bronze trophies, as well as the 2007 North American Affiliate Championship title at the NRHA show in Novice Horse Non Pro. He has earned over $19,000. His foals are eligible for AQHA Incentive Fund and NRHA Futurity and Derby Nomination Program. And all Foothills foals are eligible for our own Foothills Incentive Programs.

We are extremely pleased with the foals this fine stallion has sired for our program! Chex Is My Daddy's offspring include an AQHA Open Performance Point Earner (Remedys Style), as well as NRHA Money Earners (Hot Dun Cashin Chex and Miss Hickory Nu Chex) with $8,809 combined earnings to date. In addition to these outstanding NRHA/AQHA performers, many of Chex Is My Daddy's offspring have been successfully shown in local shows, clubs, and associations.

In 2013, his son Hot Dun Cashin Chex won $2200 in his first year of NRHA competition at the 3 futurities he was entered in. He was the McGee Farms Primetime Open Futurity champion. He also competed at the NRHA futurity where he turned in 2 very solid runs, plusing all his maneuvers in each run. He won a Morrison trophy and buckle at his very first show. He then went on to make these achievements in the coming years:

Chex Is My Daddy is an own son of Multiple World Champion Nu Chex to Cash, who is the #1 All Time Reining Point Earner in AQHA History, holding 379 total AQHA Performance Points, and earning in excess of $61,000 in his show career. Not only a great reining and working cowhorse performer, he has proven to be an excellent sire as well, producing Multiple World and Reserve World Champions, with combined Offspring Earnings now over $1 million (Chex Is My Daddy actually earned the win that put his sire over the $1 million mark - click here to read the Quarter Horse News article), as well as 4081 AQHA Points. Some of his outstanding get worth noting include NRHA Futurity Open Reserve Champion Big Chex To Cash (LTE $144,007), NRHA/NRCHA/AQHA World Champion Night Deposit Chex (LTE $71,520), NRHA Futurity Champion Wimpys Little Step (LTE $185,757), All American QH Congress Champion Hot Smokin Chex (LTE $138,953), and NRHA World Champion See Chex To Cash (LTE $51,191). Nu Chex to Cash is out of AQHA Performance ROM mare Amarilla Chex (12.0 Reining Points), and is by NRCHA Open Snaffle Bit Futurity World Champion, Nu Cash (with total Earnings in excess of $100,000, including NCHA Earnings of $38,031). Nu Cash has sired Multiple World and Reserve World Champions, as well as Offspring with combined earnings over $1.8 million and 2955 AQHA Points.

Appearing on both the top and bottom sides of Chex Is My Daddy's papers is the legendary cutting horse and outstanding sire Colonel Freckles, who was inducted into AQHA's Hall of Fame in 2004. He was the 1976 NCHA Futurity Champion, and had NCHA earnings of $46,305. He produced World and Reserve World Champions, with a total of 416 performing foals who have earned 2,720 AQHA Points, 66 Registers of Merit, and combined NCHA/NRHA/NRCHA Earnings in excess of $4 million. Also on his papers is AQHA Champion/NCHA Money Earner Bueno Chex (13.0 Halter and 30.0 Performance Points, and Producer of Multiple World and Reserve World Champion Offspring, and performers earning a total of 1775 AQHA Points and nearly $31,000 in Earnings), as well as Colonel Leo Bar, who had NCHA Earnings of $139,020 and an AQHA Performance ROM with 22 Cutting Points, and who sired Offspring with combined NCHA Earnings of $132,870.
