Trainer comments: Gibsons Finest Gunner is a 2 yr old Gibson's Finest gelding with 12 weeks (5days/week) of training. Smart, athletic and very trainable. He lopes on correct leads, moves off leg pressure, started stepping around, roll backs into correct lead, naturally low headed and soft in the face. Lopes around on loose rein inside and outside and has a BIG stop. Yields hind quarter and fore quarter and started leg yeilds. He doesn't realize what he is doing should be hard. He has been on a handful of trail rides and rides the same out, as in the arena. He is a pleaser always waiting for you to tell him what to do. Lots of groundwork done including longeing, bitting up with bungees ground driving over tarps, wearing tarps on the saddle at all gaits, good with fly spray and used to being hosed off after rides. He has been solid while riding under saddle. This young gelding has lots of potential to be a show prospect in the reining, working cow or roping arenas. I've started 3 colts bred through this Tuff n Busy maternal side crossed with Blanc Chex to Cash & Gibson's Finest and they have that little extra which has proven itself in the working arenas. Truly a pleasure to start under saddle.
